So today I ran my very first indoor meet.  I ran the mile at the beginning and coach set us individual goals...mine was 5:25.  I felt great racing but my legs didn't feel as great as they normally do.  I think the 4 days of speed workouts really took a toll on them.  I'm not too impressed with my time but I'm just going to brush it off and look to my next race and do the best that I can do.  Because I know I'm capable of so much more!  I've never done such hard workouts and so I know it's going to all pay off eventually.

I was supposed to run the 3k also but Coach Houle pulled us out of it last minute because the guys 3k was taking way too long and we needed to be getting home.  I was really bummed because I was excited to run my first 3k but there wasn't much I could do.
