Today was the second day of the NAU meet.  I ran the mile which was the first event at 10:45.  Our heat went out super slow and the first 2 laps were so so so slow.  And because of those 2 laps everyone got awful times...so awful that I'm not going to put it on this blog.  Coach wasn't very happy with us.  But I learned that I can't just sit back and be intimidated by college girls who I thought knew what they were doing.  Rather, I have to just go off my own pace and take the lead if I have to.  It was a bummer of a race but I learned valuable lessons from it.

It's nice to read your posts. You're doing awesome things. I just got that letter the other day by the way.
