Me, Frida and Mia ran from frida's house to the marathon!  It was a blast because it was new scenery and it felt like an adventure!  So the run went by really fast!  When we got to the marathon we got there just in time to cheer on Holt then we waited for Roberts then for Pete!  It was lots of fun seeing them!...even though some of them looked like death! ;)

AM- We did pyramids this morning.  which is 400, 600, 800, 1000, 800, 600, then a 400!  Phew!  They were tiring, but I felt really good!  and as a plus, there were no sprinklers to soak us! hooray!  but the pine trees kept whacking me in the head and yanking my hair!  My hair was a total mess by the end of the workout...oh well!

PM-ran an easy 3!

AM-We did 4 master blasters.  They weren't that bad, actually I kind of enjoyed them!  They gave the normal boring 200's some spice!  I don't know why the boys were being such babies about them! ;)  Then we did 2 relay 200's.  those were also pretty fun because it challenged me to catch the person ahead of me!

PM-Ran an easy 3!

AM-We ran 3!  felt fine...as usual!

PM-we ran 4 to the washington church!  We looked for dogs all along the way because Abby and Aubrey saw one got hit...so we tried to find it and save it, being the good samaritans that we are!  It was a good run!

AM- Ran 3!  it was freezing!!!  But i warmed up by the end!

PM-We did 3 1200 repeats at cruise pace.  They felt okay, but I was so excited when I found out we only had 3!  the whole time during the workout, I though we had 4!  So it was nice to only do 3.  It was fun getting to know the region course a little better too!

We ran 4 in the morning just for JP!  You're welcome!  It felt really good, although it was somewhat cold!  Me, Roberts and Rachel tried to catch up to our lone freshman who only ran 3...but we didn't quite catch her!  It was a fun run, and Roberts told us about his pumpkin cookies he made with mesquite bean flour!

Region today!  It was a good race.  I felt good, I tried to have a positive attitude, and I even took all my vitamins!  But I wish I could finish better!  Other than that, it was a great race and I'm so excited that both varsities took 1st!  We're gonna tear it up at State!

Today we ran 4 in Green Springs.  It was a good run but kinda hot!  And being as cool as we are, we all (most of us) stuck weeds in our hair!  Your jealous, huh?  We looked pretty cool!  Overall it was a fabulous run!

Today we ran the Shoe Run...aka my absolute favorite!!!!  ...except when

you're being attacked by a swarm of horse flies!  But it was a very

easy and fun run! We left some random pine cones on the Ellsworth's doorstep...but since we kinda fail at door bell ditching...I'm pretty sure they saw us!  We also fail at crossing the street!  We almost got hit by a semi-truck!  Good thing Rachel was there to protect us...

Today we did a speed workout...bleh.  We did Harts worm and cool and our workout was 200, 300, 400, 400, 300, 200, 100 in the grass.  It actually wasn't too hard.  I liked how we were trying to catch the jv, because it took my mind off running and focused it on passing people.  During the workout I had my brothers old spike shoes on to see if I liked them and they felt pretty good.  They were slightly floppy because my feet are really narrow, but other than that, they worked well!

Me and a bunch of other girls met up in Pine View Park and ran there...although some of us *cough* mia *cough* took forever getting there! ;)  We ran pretty much wherever we pleased because we had Megan's nifty Garmen to help us!  We ended up running past the stake center and towards Washington Academy.  It was a fun run  and I even saw my Uncle Alan...but I was too scared to yell hi! Oh, and we ended with two fartlick things

Today I was quite nervous...but not sick nervous like usual!  Our morning warm-up felt good and I got a good breakfast!  While at the hotel me and kaylee took a nap, which felt great!  During my nap/meditation. I imagined the race and went through the whole thing and remembered all of coach's notes.  It seemed to really help me calm down and relax about the race.  And before the race, Bro. Gillespie...Mr. Gillespie...Dr. Gellespie?...oh I don't know!  Devin's dad told me and mia this story about how devin and someone else on our team who started out way behind, but during the rest of the race they pushed and passed tons of people and ended up running a great race.  And this story helped during the beginning of the race because it was a mad house!  Everyone was all bunched together and the odgen girls were talking (yes, during the race!) about how they were going to crush all of us!  Pah!  We showed them!  But during the race I really tried to focus on what coach had told us and what our strategy was and I think it really helped.  And I felt great the whole race..well, as great as you can feel while running!  Overall it was a great race and I'm proud of our whole team!

AM-Did NOT want to get up this morning...and I didn't.  So when Mia came to pick me up I was running around like a crazy man!  The run was fine...although my knees hurt a little.  That's about it!

PM-We ran 6 out to Washington.  It was a good run!   And we saw this great dance sign!

AM-Ran 3...felt great...as great as it you can feel while running three miles in the ungodly hours of the morning!

PM-We had a hill workout today!  My favorite!!!...not.   I thought we had 7 hills, so when I heard we only had 4, I was relieved!  They went by pretty fast...and they actually weren't too bad.  On my first hill I felt great and thought 'wow!  my legs don't even hurt!'  then bam!  My legs started to hurt!  OH!  And Pudz is gone!  *moment of silence in memory of Pudz*  Me and JP think the street sweeper got him!

AM-Ran 3...was simply peachy!  but me, kaylee, taylor, frida and mia all took a 10min. nap after our run in the locker room!  It was quite refreshing!

PM-We ran 5 in neon spider.  Dumbest run ever...and I blame Claudia!  At first it was fine, then everyone started screaming for no reason! (and no!  I did NOT start the screaming!)  So I started freaking out because the varsity boys kept shoving us and I heard running water so I thought I was going to wash away and nobody would tell me what was going on because everyone was too busy screaming!  So I fell into the dumb ditch and got all wet then I sunk into the mud when I was coming out!  It wasn't my favorite run...that's for sure!

AM-Ran 3 and took our new traditional nap in the locker room!

PM-We had old man hills today...bleh.  We had one 800, four 400's, and two 200's.  I felt like we kept a good pace and we stayed in a tight pack!  On one of the 400's, Frida pushed the pace and made it really challenging, but it think it was good for us!  Then after the run some crazy boys climbed on my car!  sheesh! ;)

AM-Ran three with an extra long nap at the end!

PM-Today we had 2 1200's- Indian style!  We were supposed to keep a 7:30 pace, but we were much too good for that and we did a 6:30 pace practically the whole time!  It was fun doing it Indian style and the workout went by really fast!

Today I ran my first 10k!  It was for a friend (Shawn) and his girlfriend who are getting married pretty soon and the 1st gets a free wedding and 2nd and 3rd get prizes too.  So I was really excited that shawn had thought of me and I was pumped up for my race...even if it was super long than I was used too.  But the race only had like 23 people in it and a lot of them were just out there for fun.  Although this one lady booked it and I was kinda hoping she would die by the end...nope!  She kept on going strong and I finally passed her around the 3 mile mark and kept ahead of her to the end.  And I won a free wedding for my friends!  They were quite excited about it all!  It was a good 10k for my first one and I felt really good the whole run!

PM-Ran 7 to green springs and it went by really really fast!  It was a great run!
