Short-Term Running Goals: -Get in the 17 minute mark in the 3 mile -Qualify for state track...for reals-CHECK -Get accepted into college for running fast-CHECK -Be happy about morning practice...eh, who am I kidding...this goal will never be accomplished!
Long-Term Running Goals: How many goals are there?!? -Keep running -Don't get injured Personal: I am not married and have no children...unless you want to count my bulging biceps as my children...hahaha, I'm totally kidding!...no one really even reads this thing...right? am I right? eh, oh well!

| | AM- 3 1mile repeats and 4 200's with pizza hut warm and cool. the mile repeats went well and I felt fine during all of them. I thought the first 200 was a 400 so I was quite confused when everyone was killing it...but I figured it out. Really good workout I think. PM-Ran 3 miles with 4 stadium hill sprints then 4 100 sprints. It was a good run...even if we did make fun of boberts for a good part of it!

AM-Ran 3 to arctic circle and had 2 400's afterwards. the 400's felt fine and we had a good time beating up eachothers shadows!
PM-Ran 3 and raced Liz at the end! she's a speedster!

AM-Ran 3 to arctic circle PM-Ran to sandburgs today for the sake of tradition. It was a good run and the water was kinda cold, but it felt soo good! I raced Taylor at the end of the run...what is with these speedy juniors!

| | Marathon today! I obviously didn't run it...but i helped pass out water to half dead runners! Mia and I both missed our alarms and missed our police escort to our aid station...so we drove over there to see if we could still make it and the cop we talked to told us better luck next year and we might as well go jump in a lake...he was a punk. BUT, mia and I, being the fugitives we are, parked the car and ran over there against the cops orders! mwahaha! So we started around mile 25-ish and ran up to mile 22. There were cops everywhere but we went into stealth mode and dodged them all!!!...they actually just waved to us as we ran by...but whatever! When we finally got there we were welcomed by doughnuts and chocolate milk! After a little bit we ran up the marathon course with Kaylee and Rachel H. and back to finish our 6 miler. twas a good run! | Add Comment |

Region 9 Meet (3 Miles) 00:18:59, Place overall: 2 | | AM-Ran 3 to arctic circle like usual. PM-Region!!! I haven't felt so nervous for a race in quite a while! I was kinda feeling sick and my legs felt weird but I kept telling myself it was just nerves and in the end, it went away in the race so that was good. My start was pretty good...actually it was great, because I didn't trip this time! JP moved up so I went with her and I was looking everywhere for that hurricane girl because coach had told me to go with her but i couldn't find her so I went right up with aimee. I felt fine the first lap but on the second lap I started to fade a little off of aimee and stuck with the hurricane girl. The last lap I wasn't feeling too great and my negative thoughts were going crazy but as I came close to the finish I knew I had to get the hurricane girl and I kicked it before she could and beat her. Honestly, I have never ever felt so tired at the end of a race. I felt like collapsing which is unusual for me. I felt like I gave it my all and i hope to do the same at state!

| | AM-Ran 3 to arctic circlio PM-Ran 4 up to green springs. It was a good run..although the girls left me and mia when we went to the restroom! rude. So we decided that we'd have to beat them to the school. we did kinda run willy nilly through an intersection...safely of course...but we did end up winning!

State Championship (3 Miles) 00:19:09, Place overall: 10 | | Had state today...obviously. I was feeling pretty good and confident before the race...and also very nervous but I just tried to push that away. The start was pretty good and the first 800 or so I was passing people to get to a good spot. The hill I gained on a lot of girls which was nice and the second hilly part after the pond I caught some girls too but at the top of that hill I got really out of breath and I never seemed to catch it until the finish. then I started to get cramps as we came around the pond so I just tried my best to stick in and push to the end. I got 10th and my time improved from last year by 7 seconds. I wish I had a better race so I could've improved more but it is what it is | Add Comment |

| | Sunrise tires! hoooorraaay! I felt fine of the first three but coming down on the third by stomach cramped up and I tried to get it to leave by breathing deep but it just got worse and worse. I took it easy with Roberts for the last hill but it didnt seem to help much. It felt tight the whole way back. | Comments(1) |

AM: Ran a chilly 3! PM: 1min, 2min, 3min, 3min, 2min, 1min. hard with equal recovery and 10-20 sec of sprinting at the end of those sprints. Felt fine and it wasn't a bad workout!
