Murray Invite (3.1 Miles) 00:20:16, Place overall: 37 | | AM-3miles to arctic circle. Afternoon-3 miles at Sugarhouse Park! Race!-I must say that I love the Murray Course! It's like you're a running Pocahantos! Before the race I felt like a needed to eat some more but I turned out feeling alright. The start was a mad house and I got trapped behind a billion hobos. It eventually thinned a little and I was looking for JP's hair because I had lost her in the madness. I kept passing people determined to get up to JP and help her out. I eventually got her and said 'come on'...more like mumble it...so I really said 'csagdhl onsdahg'. I was kinda confused on the course so I thought we were turning back to the finish when we really had another loopy thingy so that took me by surprise. The finish went well though...mostly because I passed the girl I had been battling with the whole run.

| | AM: Workout! 4x30 sec F pace w/ 1 min rec, 3x800 I pace w/ 2 mine rec, 3x1000 T pace w/ 1 min rec. Felt lovely. Watched JP's flowing hair the entire time. I was mesmerized. The end. Just kidding! It was a hard workout and I didn't feel that great, but whatever. PM: 3 miles to Arctic Circle. Slowest 3 miles EVA because some hobo kept laughing and couldn't run at the same time. Sheesh.

Team Time Trial (2 Miles) 00:13:17, Place overall: 1 | |
AM: 3 to Arctic Circle with striders. Screamed at some random men. Fun fun.
PM-Had team time trial! Ran DI warm up then we had our race. I felt pretty good the whole time and I improved my time by 13 seconds. The only annoying thing was that I kept slipping around in the mud. Afterwards we did a Harts cool down then we did 5 hill sprints which turned out to not be as bad as we thought!

| | AM-Did 4 with all the uninjured ladies. Was a fun morning run. PM-Ran 3 to Hot Nails. Roberts started coaching us today...weird! Some nice man gave me a water bottle from his smelly office...it really did have a...different...smell. Mia secretly wanted me to get kidnapped by the nice man. We did weights and plyos afterwards. Felt pretty good and we did partner stretching which really really helped!...perhaps I should do it more often.

| | AM-Ran 3 to arctic circle with 4 200's afterwards. On our way to the track we witnessed this big bright line in the sky then it went up and fizzled out and it turned into this squiggly glowing cloud! It was the coolest thing ever! Plus little men popped out of it and a black hole formed and an oil drilling rig from Romulan appeared looking for Spock! It was Cra-Zay! | Add Comment |

Herriman Invite (3.1 Miles) 00:21:28, Place overall: 4 | | AM-Arctic circle 3 PM-Ran 3 at sugarhouse....Mia found an iphone. But I found 10 iphones..so I win! RACE-Ran Herriman for the first time! I must first say that this is probably the hardest course I have ever run! I have never felt like collapsing before until this race. The start was fine and I got a good spot on the first hill because people were going pretty slow on it. On the top JP ran with and pushed me down the hill then back up the wash thingy. The second hill was tiring but I still felt alright and the big loop up through the sunflower field let me calm down my breathing. Going down the hill again killed my toes and then came mutha cussa! I hadn't seen the hill until I was right there racing...so after my eyes had a heart attack from just seeing the hill I went up and up and up and up. I almost felt like stopping because of the dumb sand but I kept going...and my pace at the top of the hill was...lets just say it was not very fast at all. I tried to calm my breathing and speed up but I felt soo tired from this course! It wears you out really fast! My finish was a bit faster but by no means a sprint. Overall a fun and very challenging course.

| | Ran 7 today with Mia and JP. We ran out towards the airport. It seemed to go by really fast considering it was a 7 miler. Our last mile was hard for our workout and it went well. I was reluctant to start it at first but once I got into it, it wasn't that bad. | Add Comment |

AM-Ran 5 with the last 2 miles indian runs. Pretty much the funnest indian run ever! When we went up to the front of the line we had themes to follow. For example, our first theme was cowboy so we ran to the front while we 'rode' on a horse. Then we did ballerinas(roberts loved this one), rockets, starships, motercycles, trees, etc. It made the run go by really fast! Afterwards we had four 200's
PM-Ran 3 with stadium sprints, 100sprints, weights and plyos.

PM: 3
miles and 2x400's with weights and plyos afterwards. We ran out to
2450 but we made it up as we went so it was an adventure!

NEBO Invite (3.25 Miles) 00:19:59, Place overall: 6 | | AM-Ran 3 to arctic circle PM-Nebo, nebo nebo... I felt pretty good before the race and was ready to go...but i tripped. some hobo accidentally cut me off so I tripped and tripped JP! Thanks heavens they restarted the race!..or else me and jp would have had some catching up to do! The second start was fine although I was still kinda jittery from falling and was self conscious of where my feet were going. The first mile was kinda crowded and people kept elbowing and shoving me! It was just a physical race I guess! 2 random girls from other schools kept pushing me and helping me keep going and in the end I was 6th with a time of 19:59! And I beat that hurricane girl! So now I just need to catch Aimee!

AM-Workout today! hip hip hooray! We had 3 30sec. hard, 3 800's, then 2 1000's indian style! The 30sec were fine and 800's I had to work harder to stick in all the way and the 1000's went well. I love doing indian runs with 1000's and I think it helps all the girls stick it in as long as they can. twas a good workout. PM-Ran 3 to greensprings with 4 hillsprints then 4 100 sprints and weights and plyos. I felt like poo for the weights and plyos...I think I was just worn out from our workout this morning. Coach Holt is the greatest ever... just wanted to throw that out there - discuss...

| | AM- Michigans today! We had to do it all on the track because of the broken power line so it was a total of 17 laps! Sounds horrible but it really wasn't all that bad. I felt strong throughout the whole thing and I really liked being able to see the clock because that took my mind off of how I felt. Overall it was an awesome workout. oh, and my end time was 27:31! PM-Ran 3 to the sportmans run that I guess Mia made up. Liz got tripped by some rocks today! Those darn rocks have it out for us!...Nicole is next. Afterwards we had 2 400's which felt alright. Weights and Plyos killed me again...I think I was worn out from michigans or something.

Cedar Invitational (2.95 Miles) 00:18:26, Place overall: 5 | | AM-Ran 3 and felt tired again. PM-Cedar Meet today. My start wasn't too great and I was a lot farther behind than I would have liked to be. But I pushed up there and caught up eventually. I stuck with some girl from salem hills. I felt like I was pushing the whole time although I didn't feel really great. I felt short of breath and worn out which hasn't happened this season until this race. I did beat my pr from last year by 25 seconds though. Overall it was a good race, but definitely not a great one.
